Anil Seegobin, P.Eng
Anil Seegobin is a registered Professional Engineer in Ontario (and in other Canadian provinces) and a Partner at Trans-Plan. Anil has a bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Toronto. Anil has over 12 years of experience, working in the field of traffic and transportation in both the public and private sectors. He has completed numerous transportation studies such as traffic impact studies, parking studies and traffic circulation / design studies. Anil has provided expert testimony at Ontario Municipal Board hearings, Council Meetings, Committee of Adjustment hearings and Public Meetings for development applications and road network improvements.
Anil was recently featured in CBC News - The National, television program, to provide traffic opinions on the King Street Pilot Project, regarding giving priority to streetcars between Bathurst Street and Jarvis Street.
Outside of work, Anil enjoys playing soccer and following English Premier League soccer, going to the gym for weights and yoga, exploring new places and restaurants in the City, travelling to other countries to learn about other cultures, and is taking French classes as a personal interest. Anil is also a volunteer at the Meals on Wheels program.
