Traffic Assistant

Jing has a deep fascination with how cities are planned, designed and operated. She is dedicated to creating livable cities through sustainable transportation. Following her passion about urban transport, she got the opportunity to be a part of the Trans-Plan team recently. Involving various of traffic studies and data collection, Jing believes working as a Traffic Assistant with an inspirational team breeds a breadth of vision to her and makes her engineering skills further developed. 

Prior to this role, Jing has one year experience working as a planning analyst for Ontario residential builders, which gave her more understanding of urban development. Jing holds a Bachelor’s degree in Transportation Engineering from Southeast University and a Master of Applied Science in Civil Engineering from University of Waterloo. She was working on traffic emission, PM 2.5 and PM 10 particularly, and winter road maintenance during Master studies. 

Jing would like to grow with Trans-Plan and become a Licensed Engineer in Transportation in the future.Aside from her interests in cities and transportation, Jing is interested in traveling and exploring new places, photography and attending Zumba classes.
