Jeffrey Gorman, B. Eng
Transportation E.I.T, Level II
Transportation engineering has been Jeffrey’s passion throughout his university career and he is exhilarated to be working for a company that deals specifically in this field. Graduating from McMaster University’s engineering and society program has given him unique insight into the field of engineering. Civil engineering implemented the necessary knowledge of engineering practice, technical analysis and transportation engineering principles. Society granted Jeffrey a more thorough understanding of how this engineering affects the environments we live in and the people we live with. Working at a consulting firm has given him the opportunity to apply these principles to a variety of projects as he strives to always produce the best possible solutions.
After graduating from McMaster University’s Bachelors of Engineering program Jeffrey has aspirations to obtain his P.Eng. in approximately 4 years time. As a Traffic Assistant at Trans-Plan, there is an endeavor to apply digital solutions to everyday transportation problems. This is his favorite thing about working for Trans-Plan as the goal is to eventually work in Intelligent Transportation Systems Design, converting our infrastructure from dissociated traffic signals into thinking cities.
