Jing Min, MASc.
Transportation E.I.T, Level II
Jing has a deep fascination with how cities are planned, designed and operated. She is dedicated to creating livable cities through sustainable transportation. Following her passion about urban transport, she got the opportunity to be a part of the Trans-Plan team recently. Involving herself in work with various traffic studies and data collection, Jing believes working as a Traffic Assistant with an inspirational team breeds her breadth of vision and helps improve her engineering skills.
Prior to this role, Jing has one year experience working as a planning analyst for Ontario residential builders, which gave her a better understanding of urban development. Jing holds a Bachelor’s degree in Transportation Engineering from Southeast University and a Master of Applied Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Waterloo. During her Masters studies, Jing was working on traffic emissions, specifically PM 2.5 and PM, as well as winter road maintenance.
Jing would like to grow with Trans-Plan and become a Licensed Engineer in Transportation in the future. Aside from her interests in cities and transportation, Jing is interested in traveling and exploring new places, photography and attending Zumba classes.
